Step 3 — One-Time Board Setup

⏱️ Takes about 2 minutes · 🔧 One-time setup per board

Board Setup tells the app where to write the signing status and where to save the signed PDF on your board. You only do this once per board.

✅ Prerequisites — add these columns first

Before you start, make sure your board has these columns (add them from the + at the end of your columns if they're missing):

Column Type What it's for Required?
Status Status Shows the signing stage — Sent for Signature → Signed ✅ Required
Files Files Where the signed PDF is saved automatically ✅ Required
Agreement ID Text Stores the Adobe Sign ID for tracking ⭐ Optional

💡 Don't worry about the labels inside the Status column — the app reads them for you in the next step.

🔧 Set up your board in 4 steps

1️⃣ Open Board Setup

In the app, click Board Setup.

2️⃣ Choose your Status column

Select the column where the app should show the signing status (Sent / Signed).

3️⃣ Choose your Files column

Select the column where the signed PDF should be saved when signing is complete.

4️⃣ (Optional) Choose an Agreement ID column

Pick a text column to store the Adobe Sign Agreement ID for easy tracking, then click Save.

🔒 Note

If you see a message that board access isn't authorized, click Authorize board access (from Step 2) and try saving again.

🛠️ Troubleshooting

Problem Solution
No Status / Files column to choose Add the column to your board first, then reopen Board Setup
"Write access not confirmed" Click Authorize board access, then save again
Status labels look wrong The app reads your existing labels — pick the ones that mean Sent and Signed in the next steps
